THE OMERATHON HAS BEEN POSTPONED

The Omerathon: A 49-Day Brain-Body Adventure

Discover more about your brain and your body in supportive community.

Learn a set of tools to move with more ease and joy from the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to sleep at night.

What the heck is the Omer?

In Jewish tradition, counting the Omer is a 49-day practice that begins the second day of Passover and ends with the holiday of Shavuot.

It correlates with the time of the first grains of spring leading to the first major harvest of the year.

What this means for you:

There’s no need to be Jewish to harvest the benefits of this special time.

We’ll create a framework for integrating brain-based skills into your exercise and movement practices. You’ll learn tools that will make your current exercise classes more beneficial, enhance your everyday activities, and give you more tools for self-care.

Over a period of seven weeks, we’ll explore seven different aspects of movement:

·     Fluidity

·     Strength

·     Balance

·     Resilience

·     Presence

·     Grounding

·     Cultivating Wholeness

The course will consist of:

·     TWO weekly classes held live over Zoom

·     DAILY short videos that reinforce and augment the live class.

There will be movement and discussion in the live classes. The daily videos will be short movement practices for you to explore at your own pace.

The live classes and short videos will also be available for a year on an easy-to-use platform that you can access at any time.

Live classes will meet on Thursday 5:00-6:00pm and Sunday 10:00-11:00 am Pacific Time. They will cover the same topic and are intended to make live attendance more accessible. You are welcome to attend one or both.
